Cancer has affected so many members of our community. So many family members and friends have lost their battle to the ugly disease.

Anger is one of the steps of grieving, so what better way to put that anger to use and have a good old fashioned pillow fight.

On Saturday, June 16, Debbie Rogge, who just recently lost her brother to cancer, will host a Pillow Fight Corral.

The event will take place at Gerard Park in Fowler and will begin at 9 a.m.

"How this will work is, we will have 5 people in the corral at one time. It's $1 per person per round to participate. Bring your own pillow in a pillowcase. You can decorate your pillow with your loved ones name or survivors name. Then you just get it there and let go of all that anger with your pillows," said Rogge.

"This is a trial run, I've never organized this event before but I heard about it from a friend and it sounded fun," said Rogge.

All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.

If you don't want to participate, come out and watch, it should be some fun entertainment.
