What if all of a sudden you couldn’t remember where you were, how you got there or even your name? Imagine the confusion, frustration and fear you would feel. That’s what every day is like for more than five million American who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, a disease that slowly robs you of your memories, clouds your ability to think clearly and makes doing even the simplest things like having a conversation or dressing yourself impossible.
Join the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado Saturday, September 8 at Pueblo Community College at 8 a.m. for the annual Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Champions for our cause will be walking to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s education, counseling, support groups, our 24-hour Helpline as well as research to find a cure. For information or to register visit coloradoalzwalk.org or call 719-544-5720. Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the movement to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we are an unstoppable force against Alzheimer’s.
