Oh What a Night!

It was a spectacular day of volleyball for the Fowler Grizzlies and their fans.

On Friday, Oct. 26 the unranked Fowler Grizzlies proved to everyone, including themselves, just what they are capable of doing.

The Grizzlies started off their pool play against the Las Animas Trojans, going five games, the Grizzlies pulled off a win with scores of 23-25, 25-11, 25-14, 24-26 and 15-10.

The Swink Lions who came into pool play seated number one also fell to the Grizz in four games with scores of 21-25, 25-22, 25-20 and 25-21.

Game three of the day was a match between the number two seated Rye Thunderbolts and the Fowler Grizzlies proved which purple shines brighter. The Grizzlies appeared tired from the long day but being well coached and determined never gave up, defeating the Thunderbolts in five games. Scores of 18-25, 27-25, 22-25, 25-22 and 15-10.

This team has been a pleasure to watch all season long and now advances to Regional play Friday, Nov. 2.
