On Friday, March 22, at approximately 2:52 p.m. the Fowler police responded to the Fowler Fire Department on a report of a theft

Fowler Fire Chief Tracy Nelson reported narcotics were missing from the fire department. Forced entry was made into both ambulances where the narcotics were stored. Information is still being given as to what type and how many narcotics were missing. There is unknown suspect(s) at this time, the investigation is ongoing. Fowler Fire Chief Tracy Nelson was unavailable for a comment.

On Sunday, March 24, at approximately 12:25 p.m. the Fowler police responded to the Family Dollar per the request of the Colorado State Patrol to check on a vehicle in the parking lot. The Colorado State Patrol reported three males and one female were in possession of two stolen vehicles out of Pueblo County. One of the stolen vehicles crashed into a building in Boone, the driver then jumped into the second stolen vehicle. A citizen who witnessed the accident followed the suspects to Fowler. Based on the description of the suspects given by the witness, Fowler Police officers were able to locate one female and one male at Fourth and Florence Avenues. The other two males were located at Ninth and Pitkin. The stolen vehicle was recovered at the Family Dollar. The Colorado State Patrol arrived on scene to take custody of all parties and transport them to Pueblo County Jail.
