This week's section of Where are they now? features Ashleigh Fox. Ashleigh was a 2011 Graduate of Fowler High School. The daughter of Jonathan and Shari Fox, Ashleigh was a vibrant student, athlete and outgoing student at Fowler High School. Ashleigh was thrilled to share with our readers about where she is and what she is up to.


What were you involved in at FHS?


Volleyball, basketball, track, Student Council, FBLA, FCA, NHS, drama, choir, band, Academic Club


What was your most memorable moment at FHS?


Winning state volleyball for the third time my senior year.


What is your most memorable moment at Biola?


Taking my first backpacking trip with Adventure Club to the Sespe Hot Springs and living in a house off campus with nine other housemates.


What are you involved in at Biola University?


I have two jobs on campus, working as office assistant for Bon Appetit, our food service provider making their daily deposits. I also work as managing editor for the Chimes, our student-run school newspaper. In addition to work, I am involved in Adventure Club, where we get away from the city to camp, hike and spend time together. I got the opportunity to intern with Disney as a photographer and in Ireland, also as a photographer. I currently intern at the La Habra Journal as a writer and photographer.


Hobbies?


Playing board and card games with my nine housemates, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, sitting around the bonfire, knitting and reading in my non-existent spare time, watching movies and DJing for our campus online radio station.


What are your future plans?


I will graduate this May with my Bachelor of Arts in journalism and integrated media and a minor in biblical studies and business administration. I am looking for reporter/photographer jobs in northern Colorado, but will go wherever I can find a job!


Favorite food?


Pulled pork, creamed corn and peach cobbler


Favorite drink?


Unsweetened iced tea
