Leaders of the National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) and the National High School Rodeo Association Wrangler Division (NHSRA WD) have appointed three area cowgirls to the 2009-2010 Wrangler All Star Rodeo Teams. Tamara Tunink and Jenna Waggoner, both sophomores at Fowler High School, will join this year's elite Wrangler High School Team, which is a corporate-sponsored youth rodeo team. Nicole Waggoner, an 8th grader at Fowler Junior High School, will join the NHSRA Wrangler Division All Star Rodeo Team, also a corporate-sponsored youth rodeo team.

As the girls will be riding for the Wrangler All Star teams, each girl will receive official competition apparel consisting of Wrangler shirts with the team logo and Wrangler competition jeans. "As always, it gives us a tremendous sense of pride to associate the Wrangler brand with promising young men and women. We're confident each member of the team will be an outstanding goodwill ambassador for the sport of rodeo," said Jeff Chadwick, Special Events Manager for Wrangler Rodeo.

The mission of the NHSRA and the NHSRA WD is to help today's young people become responsible, dedicated adults through the sport of rodeo. All three girls are excited to be competing as All Star members and they are all looking forward to another successful rodeo season!
