A town of Fowler block party!
And that’s exactly what happened Sunday.
Fowler Mayor Pat Christensen greeted the crowd Sunday afternoon at Gerard Park for what organizers hope to be the first annual block party.
Community members young and old, pioneers and newcomers spent the afternoon visiting with one another while children enjoyed the playground equipment.
The Fowler Ministerial Alliance, Eta Tau Sorority, Fowler Tribune, Fowler Museum and the Fowler Library were on hand with booths promoting their different organizations.
