Thanks to the efforts of Rocky Ford Fire Chief Gary Cox and the generosity of the Community Hospital Board, the Fowler School District has received a defibrillator.

Cox wrote a Colorado Rural Health Grant, requesting enough money to purchase three defibrillators, only receiving enough funding to purchase one and a half.

The Community Hospital Board stepped in and donated the remaining monies required to purchase the three requested.

Recipients of the three defibrillators are Manzanola Senior Center, Manzanola School District and Fowler School District.
