On Saturday Jan. 30 the Fowler Youth Wrestling Club had five wrestlers participate in the 5th Series Dan Gable Classic at James Erwin Charter School in Colorado Springs. The following wrestlers participated: Dylan Palomino, placed 3rd; Cash Pachak, participant; Dahlton McGhee, placed 2nd; Matthew Pachak, participant; Ty Hershey placed 3rd.
Six students participated in a wrestling tournament Feb. 6. This was the final Dan Gable series tournament, hosted by Thunder Wrestling Club at the Discovery Canyon High School in Colorado Springs. Those participating were: Jaydon Sylvia, 4th place; Dylan Palomino, 5th place; Cash Pachak, 2nd place; Dahlton McGhee, 1st place; Matthew Pachak, 5th place; Matthew Sylvia, 2nd place.
Fowler Youth Wrestling will be taking some wrestlers to the State Youth Tournament in Castle, Colo., Feb 26 and 27. After the state tournament, Fowler Wrestling Club will be participating in the Arkansas Valley League tournaments. Anyone wishing to participate in the Valley tournaments, may sign their child up now. Wrestling practice will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. in the school wrestling room. Club fee is $50 for the first child and $25 for each additional child. Please feel free to contact Coach John Palomino during practice times to register.
