Correction to school calendar
There will be no school on Friday, April 10, 2009 for grades K - 12.
March of Dimes fundraiser
Loaf n' Jug in Fowler will be hosting a bake sale, Saturday, April 11 beginning at 9 a.m. in the parking lot. Proceeds will be donated to March of Dimes.
Easter Sunrise Service
Beginning at 6:30 a.m., Sunday, April 12, Easter Sunrise Service will be held at the White Rock Community Building (mile marker 40 on Hwy 10). Preacher Paul and Linda Scholtz will officiate. Breakfast burritos and coffee will be furnished, please bring something to go with the meal. For more information contact Illene Black 263-5481 or Nadine Martin 263-4346.
Early dismissal April 17
Due to numerous activities students and teachers are involved with Friday, April 17, a teacher work day will be observed and Fowler Jr. High and High School students will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m. Students not involved in any of the activities may go home (or remain at home Friday) or they can attend the Jr. High Track meet at Fowler. Buses will run at 3:10 p.m. Lunch will be available for students remaining at the school.
Tri-County Family Care Center Playgroup
Tri-County Family Care Center Playgroup in Ordway at the United Methodist Church of Ordway (403 Main St.) has made some changes. The playgroups will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month beginning in April, instead of the 1st and 3rd Tuesday. This playgroup will provide activities to enhance the brain and motor development through art and movement activities. Children will learn the concept of sharing, taking turns and social skills. Parents will get an opportunity to network with each other for support. This FREE playgroup is open to the public!! The PAT Educator and the families that are currently attending would sure enjoy having your family attend. For more information you can call 254-7776.
