Red Hat Gals luncheon will be held today, Thursday, at 11:30 a.m. at CJ's Roadside Grill. Note the change.
Rizzuto speaker at Blackburn-Dennis Community Center
Jim Rizzuto from La Junta will be the speaker at Blackburn-Dennis Community Center Oct. 27 at a 6 p.m. potluck. He will be clarifying issues on the upcoming election ballot. Everyone welcome.
Giving thanks dinner
To celebrate another successful harvest, a free "Giving Thanks" dinner will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday, Nov. 2.
A baked potato bar with a variety of toppings, dinner rolls, biscuits, salads and desserts will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This is not a fund raiser; it is just for fun and is a chance for friends and neighbors to get together one more time before the snow flies.
Everyone is welcome and invited to come and enjoy the good food, fun and fellowship. Dress is blue jeans casual.
