Picketwire is proud to present an original adaptation of Washington Irving’s classic American ghost story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” adapted for the stage and directed by Ashley Jo Owen-Kelley. The story follows an itinerant school master, by the name of Ichabod Crane, as he is assigned to teach the schoolchildren of a small village in upstate New England. Upon his arrival to the village of Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod hears many colorful tales about the spirits who roam the local woods. He is initially skeptical of these claims, but as the story wears on, he may be forced to change his mind. Join Picketwire for a fun and fanciful show, sure to help the whole family get in the Halloween spirit!
