As the Cleveland Indians approach Game 6 of the World Series tonight, here are five keys to the Tribe clinching the title:

1. Get ahead early — Cleveland’s bullpen has been great all postseason. The Indians need to score some early runs and put pressure on the Cubs. Once Terry Francona starts using his bullpen with a lead, Chicago could be in trouble. Former Erie SeaWolves pitcher Andrew Miller has been impressive in every situation, along with Cody Allen and Brian Shaw. The Indians just need to get to the big three with a lead.

2. Kyle Schwarber — With the series back in Cleveland, the designated hitter is back for both teams. That means Chicago will have power hitter Kyle Schwarber back in the lineup. In the first two games of the series, he went 3-for-7 with two RBIs and two walks. Cleveland needs to make sure he doesn’t become a difference maker and give the Cubs a boost.

3. Clutch hitting — There is a noticeable difference between Cleveland’s three wins and two losses in this series when it comes to hitting with runners in scoring position. In the three wins, the Indians are 6-for-22 (.278) win runners in scoring position, and in the two losses, they are 1-for-14 (.071). Cleveland is getting base runners, and they need to come through in big situations to put this series away.

4. Don’t get comfortable — It might be easy to ride pretty high in confidence in Game 6. The Indians are back home, and the atmosphere should be electric. Cleveland also knows Corey Kluber is looming in Game 7 as a safety net. None of that should matter tonight; the Indians need to have the mentality to put the series away.

5. Party at Napoli’s — Mike Napoli is in the middle of the Cleveland lineup and needs to start producing. Napoli is hitting .186 in the postseason, including three hits. He has a home run, but Napoli has driven in only two runs in the playoffs. A lot of struggles could be forgiven tonight if Napoli comes up with a big game to help win the World Series.
