Pitsy’s Posse and Kassidy Lotrich are proud to announce a donation to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of $2,819.14 in the name of Jerry Bonds.

Pitsy’s Posse was established by Kassidy in the Spring of 2014 in an effort to expose elementary-age students to track and field events, raise funds to fight cancer, and to honor Jerry Bonds, a longtime community leader and family friend.

Jerry was a longtime Fowler resident, community leader and family friend who lost his battle with cancer in April 2014. Kassidy Lotrich is a 2017 graduate of Fowler High School in Fowler.

The 2017 camp offered instruction to 52 elementary and middle school students and featured demonstrations by current and former Fowler High School student-athletes, as well as other qualified instructors, and dozens of volunteers. The camp culminated in a track meet and silent auction with items from local donors. Our 2017 edition featured, cash and merchandise donations from nearly 50 individuals and businesses in town and around the country! The 2014 event raised $1,938 (34 students), 2015 raised $3,499.07 (44 students), and 2016 raised $2,705.51 (46 students). The four-year donations total $10,929.72!
