The Fowler School District Board of Education accepted the resignation, with thanks, from elementary school aide Kim Wallace and approval of extra curricular personnel for Eric McRae, who will become the Grizzlies' newest assistant football coach.

The Fowler School District Board of Education accepted the resignation, with thanks, from elementary school aide Kim Wallace and approval of extra curricular personnel for Eric McRae, who will become the Grizzlies' newest assistant football coach.

A short, routine meeting, the board recognized notable dates, including Back to School Night on Aug. 21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and the first day of school for all students is on Aug. 14.

Superintendent Alfred Lotrich updated the board on student count for each building, including 200 elementary school students and 189 junior and senior high school students, totaling 389 districtwide.

A number of policies were presented to the board, mostly mandatory, for review and approval at future meeting dates.

Fowler School Board will meet again Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.
