PUEBLO — The La Junta High School boys' golf team took fourth place, Rocky Ford was seventh and Fowler 10th at the Pueblo Centennial Invitational Wednesday at Walking Stick Golf course.
Cody Schrock led the Tigers as he was seventh with a 76. Jay Paolucci was 11th with an 81, Noah Sedillo was 17th with an 85, Chance Oquist was 38th with a 94 and Nate Paolucci was 44th with a 98.
For Rocky Ford, Ethan Jacob tied for 24th with an 88, Seth Havens tied for 27th with a 90, Levi Collins tied for 37th with a 94 and Christian Valdez tied for 43rd with a 97.
Fowler was led by Derrick Sharp, who tied for 21st with an 87. David Gage tied for 40th with a 95, Christian Mullarkey tied for 48th with a 99 and Hunter Mason was 56th with a 104.
Pueblo County won the tournament with 315, one stroke better than Cheyenne Mountain. Lamar was third with 328, La Junta had 336 and Pueblo Centennial was fifth with 350.
Lamar's Brock Reedy and Trinidad's Lance Peters tied for first place with a two-over-par 74 with Reedy winning medalist honors on a scorecard playoff.
Fowler and Rocky Ford will be at Hollydot Golf Course today for the Santa Fe League Tournament. La Junta will be at Hollydot on Friday for the second of three Tri-Peaks League Tournaments.
