COLORADO CITY — The La Junta and Fowler high school boys' golf teams competed at the Pueblo County Invitational, which took place Friday at Hollydot Golf Course.

The Tigers placed sixth with a team score of 365. Cody Schrock led La Junta as he was seventh with an 80. Jay Paolucci was ninth with an 83, Noah Sedillo tied for 50th with a 100 and Chance Oquist was 56th with a 102.

The Grizzlies were eighth with 373 and they were led by Derrick Sharp and Hunter Mason who both tied for 23rd with an 89. David Gage tied for 40th with a 97 and Christian Mullarkey tied for 44th with a 98.

Pueblo County won the tournament with 320, followed by Lamar with 329, Alamosa with 347, Pueblo Centennial with 352 and Pueblo West with 362.

Lamar's Brock Reedy was the medalist with a three-over-par 74.

La Junta will next compete at the Pueblo South Invitational Wednesday at Elmwood golf Course. La Junta, Fowler and Rocky Ford will be at the Lamar Invitational on Thursday.
