Fowler struck first and often in a 50-0 rout of the Trojans. FHS scored 22 points in the opening quarter and 20 more before the half to take a 42-0 lead into the break. The Grizzlies lightened the onslaught in the second half, scoring eight points in the third quarter to mark the final score, 50-0.

Zane Denton proved Bitter's favorite target on the night, Denton recording five catches for 65 yards and one touchdown. Dylan Palomino recorded a team high eight tackles for the Grizzly defense.

Ahead for the Grizzlies is a far more difficult task as the Fowler team will travel to Akron High School tomorrow to take on the Rams at 7 p.m. Akron opened the season with a 46-16 win over Granada Aug. 25 before falling to Dayspring Christian Academy 44-6 last Friday. The Grizzlies' next home game will be Sept. 15 against Sargent at 7 p.m.
