The Fowler Grizzlies volleyball team had a hard time setting their pace this week, once again splitting up their week with a win and a loss, both at away games.

The Fowler Grizzlies volleyball team had a hard time setting their pace this week, once again splitting up their week with a win and a loss, both at away games.

Tuesday night, the Grizzlies played at the Hoehne Farmers court and lost 0-3 in three sets. All three sets were pretty close in score but Hoehne kept coming out of it on top. Set Scores were 22-25, 18-25, and 22-25. The Grizzlies were led by Sophomore Avery Bouldin with 25 digs, Senior Elizabeth Hagerman with 12 digs and 11 kills, and Junior Isabella Proctor with 11 assists.

Thursday night, the Grizzlies again traveled to their opponents' court, this time going to Rocky Ford where, after finding their footing in the first set, they beat the Meloneers in 3-1 in four sets. Set scores were 22-25, 25-16, 25-13, and 26-24. They were led by senior Elizabeth Hagerman with 19 kills, senior Lexi VanSickle with 26 assists, sophomore Avery Bouldin with 17 digs, and junior Emily Bell with 17 digs.

This week, the Fowler Grizzlies will go against the Las Animas Trojans on Tuesday and the Crowley County Chargers on Thursday. Both games will be held in Fowler with C-team starting at 4 p.m.
