1. TAKE IN THE FOWLER FALL FESTIVAL

Come celebrate the season with fun for the whole family at the Fowler Fall Festival in Gerard Park on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. Enjoy pumpkin bowling, food, football toss, Kiddie Corral, costume contest, dance from 6 to 10 p.m. featuring music from The Barnburners, and much more.

2. GET CREATIVE CARVING A PUMPKIN

Bring your carved pumpkin to Gerard Park on Saturday during the Fowler Fall Festival for a chance to win a prize in the Pumpkin Carving Contest.

3. CLEAN UP YOUR YARD

Sure, clutter and old yard tools make for a great haunted house scene, but if that's not what you're going for, clean up before the rush. The more mess you have in your yard, the more likely children are to fall down on your property during Halloween. Also, with the weather cooling off, this may be the last chance you get to clean up before the colder weather arrives.

4. TRUNK OR TREAT IN THE PARK

Collect Halloween treats in a fun, safe environment during the Trunk or Treat at Gerard Park Saturday at 5 p.m. Sponsored by the Fowler Chamber of Commerce.

5. MAKE YOUR BEST CHILI

Cook up a batch of your best chili recipe for the Chili Cook-Off at 2 p.m. at the Fowler Fall Festival on Saturday in Gerard Park. There will be prizes for the best red chili, best green chili and overall winner. Chili samples will be given after judging is complete in exchange for a donation. Sponsored by the Fowler Fire Department. For questions contact Matt Thompson, (719) 248-2265.
