Consider how U.S. history relates to us very personally. Sandi King, of Monument, Colo., will share just how it does. 

King is a former retail store owner, and an “Outstanding Young Woman of America." She has helped her husband in all of his political endeavors – from city council to Colorado's state legislature.

Lori Hawley and Connie Cook, of Fowler, Colo. will share information about alpacas and their wool. Special music will be provided by Peggy Martin and Carol Froese from Cheraw, Colo. All are invited for a fun filled evening.

Arkansas Valley After 5 meets in the banquet room at OJC Student Center at 6:15 p.m. Guests, teens, millennials, women, and men are always welcome at every Arkansas Valley After 5, which is affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries headquartered at Overland Park, Kan.

Dedicated ladies under the leadership of Marci Manyik, Stonecroft Area Representative, serve in various positions of responsibility on the planning team. The group meets regularly on the second Monday of each month in the banquet room of the Student Center at Otero Junior College. More information about the parent organization may be found by visiting their website, www.stonecroft.org.
