Recently quoted by a nationally recogized financial media outlet, local businessman, Jonathan Fox, was given the opportunity to weigh in on the financial crisis sweeping the nation.
Fox said he was very surprised to be contacted by CNN Money a couple of weeks ago but gladly shared his thoughts on finances in small communities like Fowler. Fox told CNN that Fowler State Bank's lending window was still open, however the value of a customer's collateral and their income is now scrutinized more carefully. He also pointed out that by not getting caught up in the subprime mortgage market, Fowler State Bank can continue to lend freely.
