Future is bright for Fowler High School Grad

"I want to go to a local university first to transition instead of getting ripped away," Long said. "Don't want to scare myself."

Theater was an obvious choice for Long who has participated in local community theater.

Long's focus is films and his comfort zone is comedy. Long said he "did not want to be sucked into trash comedy. A lot of people know who I am and will expect certain things of me.  If they see me saying bad things or wearing next to nothing, they will wonder what happened to the Ben they knew. Just because I am an actor, does not mean I will lose my core values."
