Thirteen students from Fowler High School have received honors for excellence in the classroom as well as accomplishments in the activities area. Nine recipients earned First Team honors, four earned honorable mention recognition. The CHSAA Commissioner Bill Reader has announced that 13 Fowler High School students have earned first team or honorable mention recognition.

First team honors are given to students with 3.60 or higher grade point average. Students with grade point average 3.30 to 3.59 earn honorable mention.

To earn Academic All-State status, a student must be a significant contributor on his/her athletic team, or a major contributor in his/her activity; meet specific academic criteria of the program; be a participant in one or more CHSAA-sanctioned activities; and be a junior or senior in academic standing.

Students receiving Academic All-State Honors - First Team: Tryon Goff - Boys Basketball, Brooke Grissom - Girls Basketball, Kurt Lieber - Boys Basketball, Shelby Hartless - Girls Basketball, Kirsten Grasmick - Girls Basketball, Ashleigh Fox - Girls Basketball, Chelsey Wager - Girls Basketball,  Marissa Munger - Girls Basketball and Jessica Rein - Girls Basketball.

Students receiving Academic All-State Honors - Honorable Mention: Jordan Korbitz - Boys Basketball, Ashley Kress - Girls Basketball, Karlee Wager - Girls Basketball and Tyler Lundy - Speech.

Each student receives a certificate in acknowledgment of his/her achievement.
