Grizzly football team falls to No. 1 ranked Farmers

In front of a packed stadium, the Grizzlies were defeated by the No. 1-ranked Hoehne Farmers last week 32-6.
The first quarter was scoreless by both teams. The Griz were playing tough defense. In the second quarter it was Schafer from Hoehne who scored on a two-yard run with teammate Waln scoring on the two-point conversion. The Griz answered back with a four-yard run by Jeremy Burke (conversion pass failed). Bringing the score to a close 8-6.
In the third quarter, the Griz held the Farmers at the three-yard line for three downs, taking over possession of the ball on their own three, the Griz were sacked with a safety. The Farmers went on to score another touchdown bringing the third quarter score to 16-6.
The Griz were held scoreless in the fourth quarter while the Farmers racked up another 16 points.
Jeremy Burke and Jake Milberger led the Griz in rushing with 43 yards each, A.J. Hobby had 40 yards rushing.
Final score Fowler 6, Hoehne 32.
The game scheduled for Friday has been canceled and Primero forfeited to Fowler.
