T.J. Grace, upcoming Manzanola High School junior, will be representing Manzanola as a HOBY ambassador at the World Leadership Conference July 25 – August 2, in Washington D.C.

HOBY’s annual global youth leadership seminar brings together approximately 500 high school students from around the world for a week-long, intensive educational program.

The WLC provides youth with training in leadership skills and capacity building. Students are exposed to a distinguished group of leaders from various sectors in business, government, international affairs, science and technology, medicine, media, and education.

The Manzanola community came together donating the funds Grace and his mother, who will be accompanying him, needed to attend this year’s conference.
