Sahron L. Van Sickle Van Gaasbeck, 67, of Porterville, Cali died Feb. 15, 2010 at Sierra View Hospital in Porterville after a year long battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date to be held in California.
Sharon was born Oct. 22, 1942 in La Junta to Harold and Ione Bouldin Van Sickle. She lived in the Swink and Fowler areas graduating from Olney Springs High School in 1960. She moved to California in 1962.
She is survived by her husband Richard, and daughters Donna Summer and Kellie Kedder. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Brothers Jerry Van Sickle, Bill (Kari) Van Sickle, and Bob (Judy) Van Sickle, sister Shirley (Alan) Smith and Betty Winsborough, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Phyllis Shelton.
