Harold Lafayette Lacey, 71, of Pueblo, died at Belmont Lodge Jan. 28, following a long illness. He was born on Oct. 23, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Harold and Lucille Bond Lacey Sr. He had worked for civil service for many years and had worked at Pueblo Army Depot until his retirement in 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Maria of the family home, a son, Edward (Rebecca Pacheco) Berumen of Pueblo; three step grandchildren, all of Pueblo; sisters Ann (Larry) Deal and Grace (Les) Simon all of Toledo, Ohio.
Rosary services will be at 9:30 a.m. Sat. Feb. 6 at Mary, Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Fowler with the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Father Don Malin will be the celebrant.
Pallbearers will include Edward Berumen, Francisco Berumen, Orlando Berumen, Hector Blanco, Kenny Lovato, and Sammy Flores. Burial will be in Fowler Cemetery. Griffy Family Funeral Home in Fowler is in charge of arrangements.
