George WIlliam McLean Jr., 62, a resident of Manzanola, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta. Mr. McLean was born on Dec. 30, 1947 in Austin, Texas, the son of George W. McLean Sr. and Violet Jean Deeds McLean.
For many years Mr. McLean was employed as a glazier for Safelite Auto Glass company. Survived by two sons, George Gene (Jennifer Ritter) McLean of Manzanola and Billy (Gina) McLean of Casa Grande, Ariz. and nine grandchildren. A brother, Danny Hamlet of Denver and a sister, Debbie Pender of Ardmore, Okla. Ex wife Dorthea Garcia of Casa Grande, Ariz. also survives.
Cremation has taken place and no local services are planned at this time. Griffy Family Funeral Home in Fowler is in charge of arrangements.
