Thomas Robert Butler

Thomas (Tom) Robert Butler passed away Jan. 20, 2010 at his home in Longmont. He was born to Theodore and Mary (Siegfried) Butler on Dec. 10, 1950 at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo. Tom attended Crowley County High School in 1968. He attended Colorado State University and then Pueblo Community College graduating with degrees in electrical engineering and electronics. He served in the U.S. military completing basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and served in the National Guard. He was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration and was stationed at Worland, Wyoming then transferring to Longmont. He worked as an electronics specialist and computer troubleshooter at FAA Denver Center which controlled the airspace in and around Denver including Denver International Airport plus the Rocky Mountain States.
He was perceded in death by his parents, grandparents Gottfried and Julianna Siegfried and Thomas W. and Agnes Butler, uncles John Butler, Henry Siegfried, Robert Siegfried, Alex Siegfried, and John O'Connell; aunts Marian Barnes, Tess Enyart-Trainor, and Janet O'Connell. He is survived by uncle and aunt Albert and Hilda Siegfried, cousins Steve Siegfried, Sharon Wilburn, Larry Siegfried, Richard Siegfried, and families.
The family requests memorials, in lieu of flowers, be made to Grace Lutheran Church, P.o. Box 215, Sugar City, Colo.
