Ina Jean Hazlett

Ina Jean Hazlett went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Fe. 28 at the Fowler Health Care Center. Mrs. Hazlett was born on July 3, 1920 in Canon City to Weldon and Ora Lee Grisham. She married John Hazlett on Nov. 25, 1939 and they farmed in the Fowler area for over forty years. Mrs. Hazlett worked numerous jobs in Fowler, including Fleming Chevrolet, Ben Franklin Store and for the Town of Fowler. Mrs. Hazlett is survived by one daughter, Mary Jean (Leland) Larrew of Beulah and four sons, William (Judith) Hazlett of Carmichael, Cali.; Jeff (Stacey) Hazlett of Tempe, Ariz.; Gerald (Elizabeth) Hazlett of Arvada and Keith (Kay) Hazlett of Fort Garland. One sister, Lola Lester of Canon City and twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband John M. Hazlett, grandson Chistopher Larrew and granddaughter Kassandra Hazlett.
Funeral services will be at Fowler Christian Church at 2 p.m. today Thursday, Mar. 4 with Pastor Don Sniff officiating assisted by Pastor Wayne Ward of the Broadway Christian Church in Pueblo. Casket bearers will be Eric Larrew, Nathan Hazlett, Cameron Hazlett, Patrick Hazlett, Michael Hazlett and Don Hazlett.
Visitation was held Wed. Mar. 3 from 3 p.m until 5 p.m. at Griffy Chapel in Fowler. The casket will remain closed at the services. Burial will be in Fowler cemetery beside her husband. Griffy Family Funeral Home in Fowler is in-charge of arrangements.
