The second day of State Volleyball playoffs at Denver Coliseum began with a match between Resurrection Christian Cougars and Fowler Grizzlies. The girls dug deep, taking it one point at a time to come out on top placing first in pool 2 play. Later this afternoon Fowler will face off with the second place team in pool 1 for a chance to move on to the final championship tonight.

It was a battle for the Grizzlies who won the first set 28-26, lost the second 23-25, then won the next two, 25-18 and 28-26. Junior, Hannah Switser, filled in on the back line for sophomore hitter, Bethany Moss who sat out part of set 4 with a back injury. Switser never missed a beat setting up plays for the front line. Also called into play was junior, Ashleigh Fox who sent a kill straight into Cougar territory.

Keep going girls!!! Great job!!
