Fowler High School has recently been recognized for its superior athletic program. Based on athlete participation, state appearances and All-State competitors Fowler was ranked 34 out of 250 schools in Colorado by Mile High Sports Magazine. Other schools in the Arkansas Valley listed were; Rocky Ford, 41; Swink, 152; La Junta, 198; and Crowley County, 216.
