Marissa Munger, a Fowler senior, was named to the Tri-Peaks All-Conference Softball Team. Playing for Rocky Ford, Marissa joined teammates Amber Lowther, Jessica Kienitz, Taylor Lowther, and Kayla Mosher in earning All-Conference honors. Rocky Ford won the Tri-Peaks League and advanced to the state tournament last weekend. Marissa batted .431, scored 20 runs, had 18 RBI's,and 28 hits including 4 doubles and 2 triples. Marissa was also selected to play in the Colorado Coaches of Girls' Sports All-Star softball game in Westminister this weekend. She is the daughter of Carol and Bill Munger.
