Add a little holiday cheer by meeting friends or family at local bars serving drinks with names like Candy Cane Martini. Most bars will have the cocktails on their menus through the first of the year.

White Winter Sangria

1/4 ounce peach schnapps
1/4 ounce Triple sec
3 ounces Barefoot Chardonnay
1 ounce sangria mix
Splash of pineapple juice
Splash of Sierra Mist
Pinch of cilantro
Mix, stir and serve with an orange slice as garnish.

Candy Cane Martini

1 ½ ounces of Absolut Vanilla Vodka
1 ounce Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur
1½ ounces Baileys Irish Crème Liqueur
1 ounce peppermint schnapps
Whole and crushed candy canes

Add first four ingredients to a shaker that is filled halfway with cracked ice and let stand for about a minute.

Rub orange around the rim and dip glasses in crushed candy canes. Shake the cocktail well over ice. Strain into martini glasses. Garnish with a candy cane.

Makes two martinis.

Josef’s Eggnog-tini

3 ounces of Pearl Vanilla Vodka
1 ounce Dr. McGillicuddy’s Vanilla Schnapps
1 ounce Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
2 ounces chilled eggnog
Crushed graham crackers
Add first four ingredients to a shaker that is filled halfway with cracked ice and let stand for about a minute.
Rub orange around the rim and dip glasses in crushed graham crackers. Shake the cocktail well over ice. Strain into the martini glasses.

Ginger Snap Martini

5 ounces of Pearl Premium Vodka
1 teaspoon of ginger syrup
1 small piece of freshly cut ginger
1 ounce of ginger ale
Thinly sliced orange round
Add the vodka and ginger syrup to a glass shaker that is filled halfway with cracked ice. Let stand for about a minute. Rub the fresh ginger around the inside of two chilled martini glasses. Shake the cocktail well over ice. Strain into martini glasses and top half of the ginger ale to each glass. Each glass gets an orange round.

Melted Grasshopper

1 1/8 ounces Coole Swan Irish Dairy Cream liqueur
1 1/8 ounces Godiva Chocolate Vodka
1/2 ounce peppermint schnapps
1/2 ounce green crème de menthe
Two fresh mint leaves
Fill martini shaker with ice, add above ingredients and shake. Strain into martini glass and garnish with mint leaf and mini candy cane.

Dirty Girl Scout

1 1/4 ounces peppermint schnapps
Good-quality hot chocolate
Mix above and top with whipped cream a drizzle of green crème de menthe and one Thin Mint cookie.

Honey Apple Crisp
 
1 1/4 ounces of Wild Turkey Honey Bourbon
1/2 ounces Barenjager Honey Liqueur
1/2 ounces fresh lemon juice
Combine ingredients in a coffee mug, top with spiced apple cider (the hotter the better), garnish with a cinnamon stick and lemon wheel.

Falling Leaves

3/4 ounces Frangelico
3/4 ounces Tuaca
2 1/4 ounces Death’s Door Vodka
2 ounces fresh-squeezed orange juice
Fill martini shaker with ice, add above ingredients, shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
