Bethany Moss, outside hitter for Fowler High School Volleyball, has been selected to play in the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports  All-State Volleyball Games to be held at Arvada West High School this coming Sunday, Nov. 20.  The 2A match will begin at 10:30 a.m.


Bethany Moss, outside hitter for Fowler High School Volleyball, has been selected to play in the Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports  All-State Volleyball Games to be held at Arvada West High School this coming Sunday, Nov. 20.  The 2A match will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Only 90 senior volleyball players throughout the state of Colorado in all classifications were chosen by the CCGS committee to play in Sunday’s games.  Players were nominated by their leagues.  During the past 33 years, the CCGS All-State Games have grown into a prestigious event honoring outstanding female athletes who participate in volleyball, basketball and softball.  Along with Bethany, Danica Shipley of Rye High School and Alexandra Tenorio of John Mall High School will be representing the Santa Fe League.  Coaching the Blue Team will be Fowler Head Coach Sandy Moss and Byers Head Coach Jolene Dodge.  Coaching the Red Team will be Rye Head Coach Tammy VanOort.  Admission prices for Sunday’s game are $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for students and senior citizens.  Arvada West High School is located at 11595 Allendale Drive in Arvada.
Bethany Moss, Fowler High School outside hitter, has been selected to play in the 2012 Colorado High School Coaches Association Summer All-State Games to be held at Adams State College in Alamosa on June 9, 2011. Also representing the Santa Fe League will be Danica Shipley, outside hitter from Rye High School.    
This is an opportunity extended to only 50 senior volleyball players in the state of Colorado, 10 girls per classification.  Players were nominated by their leagues and were then selected by the CHSCA committee based on athletic ability, citizenship and scholarship excellence.
The Games will showcase five different sports with players from all five classifications being combined to form the teams.
