In Monday night’s town of Fowler Town Council meeting it was business as usual. The police department is getting ready to begin their Christmas drive. They will be collecting toys, coats, and food for the Christmas season. All food will be given to the Ministerial Alliance Community Food Bank.

Went to mayor’s summit with Mayor Pro Tem Pat Christensen. Trustee read a letter of resignation submitted by Trustee Brenda Eddy.
Public works report
New service is in at the trailer park and is active, and the maintenance crew has spent a large majority of time working on equipment.
Status of current caseload submitted by Sergeant Jacob Freidenberger. “We are currently working on a felony domestic violence stalking case that has evolved into up to five suspects and several other felony charges. We have already issued two felony arrest warrants in the case, and have made other arrests. One search warrant has already been served in connection with this case, and we are in the process of seeking several more warrants. As you can imagine, this is a very time consuming, tedious process. We are currently working with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and the Pueblo Police Department investigations division to resolve this case. We have also been involved in the investigation of another domestic violence case that involved a former Fowler Police Department employee.”
Thanked Trustee Lance for attending CML. The bookkeeping computer is down and is currently getting fixed. Town Administrator Dan Hyatt is currently looking at a new computer that will handle necessary programs. A motion was made and passed to authorize the purchase of a new computers for both the treasurer and city clerk.
