On Thursday, Dec. 3, at approximately 7:23 p.m., patrol officers in Lubbock responded to assist Lubbock Aid Ambulance with a shooting victim. While driving down 34th Street in Lubbock, Lubbock Aid Ambulance was flagged down by people in a Ford F-150 at 34th Street and Indiana Avenue. All parties pulled over in the 3300 block of 33rd Street. Paramedics immediately began performing first aid on the victim, Henry Anderson, 22. He died in the ambulance while still at the scene.
Approximately six minutes prior to the call, officers had responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 2006 Cedar Avenue. This is where detectives determined the shooting occurred.
Enough information and evidence was gathered to obtain a murder warrant for Isaias Cabello, 27. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5'8", 150 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a 2014 Chevy Silverado crew cab pick-up with Colorado license plates 006QUJ. Detectives believe the suspect may have fled the state and could possibly be in Colorado, Nebraska or South Dakota.
