The Town of Fowler Board of Trustees approved the second section irrigation system for the Fowler Cemetery. The citizens of Fowler approved an increase in taxes to supplement the recreation/cemetery/library funds over the past few years. There is a total of $75,000 in the cemetery fund, with the acceptance of the second section bid of $46,300 three sections of the cemetery irrigation system will be complete. There are a total of five sections of the cemetery irrigation system. The quick meeting handled a few items with updates in different areas. General Reports included: Mayor Chuck Hitchcock received a note from a citizen thanking the town for fixing the potholes in the streets. The Fowler Police Department has completed a couple drug busts within the town. Trustee Randy McKown to meet with a sign company about the Town of Fowler sign, with the hopes to get a quote soon.

-approved the cemetery bid for second section bid $46,300.

-Information only: Farm lease payment was received in full for the second year

-Ratification of representative (Mayor Chuck Hitchcock) to CWPDA Annual Meeting.

-approved the full-time police officer and public works wages. This sets the wage for Joshua Katz, full-time police officer, and Brent Bitter, public works employee.
