The 2016 summer reading program had high numbers as it kicked off last Thursday. Nearly doubling its numbers hitting over 60 kids, Fowler Librarian Stephanie Delaney was overjoyed with the number of children excited for summer reading. This year there are three stations: story time, crafts and activities, and with several volunteers and great planning, all the children had fun, learned tons and were excited to see what this coming week will bring.
If you missed the first day of summer reading, there is still time to participate for school age children. Every Thursday in June from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. summer reading volunteers and the Fowler Library will bring more reading and learning adventures.
