American Legion Post #106 has been reorganized in Fowler

The American Legion Post 2 will have their 10th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 20 at Elmwood Golf Course in Pueblo, shot gun start at 8 a.m.

This is a four person scramble that must include at least one female golfer per team. Cost is $65 per person or $260 per team. Check in begins at 7 a.m. and a putting contest at 7:15 a.m. Carnival Cruise guaranteed to winner. This is a $1 million shootout, two hole-in-one prizes; Ford Mustang convertible and a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The awards banquet follows at American Legion Hall, 701 W. Ninth Street, Pueblo.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local Veterans Care Centers. For more information contact Brandi at (719) 299-9010.

The Legion is a veterans organization providing social, financial, and emotional support to members of the U.S. armed forces, veterans and their families.

The American Legion Post #106 has been organized in Fowler. They will have their meetings every first Tuesday of the month. The Legion officers are, First Commander, Jan Bollinger; Commander, Brandie Matthews; Adjutant, Deborah Forbes.

The Fowler post will finish with the American Legion Post 2 golf tournament and will then continue on their own.
