In 2013, a newly formed Picketwire Christmas Choir wowed the audiences during a holiday production. Three years later, they are returning to the Picketwire stage as part of the holiday production “Make Me An Instrument.”

In 2013, a newly formed Picketwire Christmas Choir wowed the audiences during a holiday production. Three years later, they are returning to the Picketwire stage as part of the holiday production “Make Me An Instrument.”

Members of the choir include Tim Baublits, Curtis Peacock, Colleen Oquist, Stephen Mathews, Whitney Belew, Grant Elliott, Shelby Mustain, Susan Miller, Helen Hollar, R.J. Nelson, John Klein, Rob Oquist, James Lind, Janet Hill, Lynette Horner, Todd Hillstad, Cathy Bollacker and Lindy Nelson.

Music director and pianist is Mary Belew and Luaine Weed will play the violin.

Under the direction of Lindy Nelson, the author of the original Christmas musical, three handbell choirs, the Picketwire Christmas Choir and a newly formed Holiday Children’s Choir, along with some special guests (maybe even a few surprises) will take the stage to get everyone in the holiday mood.

The holiday production of “Make Me An Instrument” is set for Dec. 1, 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pickewtire Center for the Performing and Visual Arts at 802 San Juan Ave. in La Junta.

The Box Office is open nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be reserved by calling 384-8320 or stopping by the box office.
