The boys' basketball team won the Class 2A Pod E Regional Tournament over the weekend at Vista Peak High School.

The boys' basketball team won the Class 2A Pod E Regional Tournament over the weekend at Vista Peak High School. The Grizzlies earned their way to the State Tournament by defeating Dayspring Christian Academy and Alexander Dawson School.

The Grizzlies came out on fire for both games ready to show both private schools who Fowler really was. The Grizzlies defeated Dayspring Christian Academy 41-27 and won the Regional Tournament by crushing Alexander Dawson 46-37.

During the Tournament, the Grizzlies were led by Alexander Proctor with 36 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists, and 8 steals, Dean Reed with 29 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 assists, Zane Denton with 3 steals and 11 rebounds, Quinton Flanscha with 2 assists, Jakob Juul with 7 points and 6 rebounds, and Brand Sharp with 7 assists and 3 steals.

The Grizzlies advance to the Class 2A Boys State Tournament as the #7 seed and will face #2 seeded Holyoke on Thursday, March 9, at 10:15 a.m. The Class 2A State Tournament will take place March 9, 10, and 11 at the Budweiser Events Center (5290 Arena Circle) in Loveland, Colorado.
