The Colorado High School Activities Association announced its weekly polls on Monday. The polls were posted on the web site.

La Junta High School moved from fifth to fourth on the Class 3A poll after going 2-1 last week. Two other Tri-Peaks League teams are also in the rankings as Lamar stayed at No. 2 and Buena Vista debuted at No. 10.

University remained the No. 1-ranked team, followed by Lamar, Faith Christian, La Junta, Eaton, Sterling, Valley, Peak to Peak, Kent Denver, and Buena Vista.

Listed as "others receiving votes" are Colorado Academy, Bennett, Lutheran, Resurrection Christian, Alamosa, Aspen, The Academy, Platte Valley, and Weld Central.

In Class 2A, Rocky Ford rose from eighth to the sixth position. The Meloneers are the only Santa Fe League team in the Top 10.

Peyton is still ranked first, followed by Paonia, Limon, Hotchkiss, Sedgwick County, Rocky Ford, Lyons, Yuma, Calhan, and Sargent.

Fowler and Swink are mentioned as "others receiving votes," along with Evangelical Christian, Dawson, Meeker, Dayspring Christian, Highland, Front Range Christian, Sanford, Denver Christian, Simla, and Haxtun.

The Class 1A poll has a new No. 1-ranked team as Cornerstone Christian rose to the top of the rankings. Holly is second, followed by Caliche, Otis, Elbert, Peetz, Nucla, Denver Jewish Day, Cotopaxi, and Springfield.

Manzanola is on the "others receiving votes" category, as are Longmont Christian, Stratton/Liberty, Mile High Academy, Eads, and Dove Creek.
