Weston Buhr will present a holiday concert on Dec. 8, featuring music to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and the birth of the true King of Kings.
A sophomore at Cheraw High School, Buhr has been studying piano for seven years. His concert this year will again reflect his love of music and his God-given ability to perform selected Christmas music before a large audience, playing beautiful tunes on a baby grand piano.
A new audience participation element will be added to the concert this year and, just as he did last year, Buhr will take audience requests and present those requests in an original medley.
“Songs for an Infant King” will be presented at the Ed Stafford Theater in the Otero Junior College Humanities Center. The doors will open at 6:30 and the concert will begin at 7 p.m. There is no charge to attend.
