Happy New Year from all of us at the Fowler Public Library!

Every culture celebrates the beginning of a new year in a traditional and distinct way our afterschool program particiapnts learned about the Chinese new year with stories from that far away land and with crafts found in China. If you have never participated in our afterschool program we encourage you to stop in and take a look. For February we will be making Valentine boxes for those special people you’d like to remember.

New titles we have added to our collection include Walking Shadows by Fay Kellerman, Turning Point by Danielle Steel, Sweet Tea and Sympathy by Molly Harper, and Crime Scene by Jonathan Kellerman.

We encourage our students looking for a science fair topic or additional help with their chosen project to stop in to look through our amazing kid’s non fiction section. Topics include animal science, solar system data, plant life and much more. Also our ESBCO database is a great resource.

We would also like to thank all the new comers to our town for stopping in. We enjoy meeting new people and as always there is no fee to obtain a library card or use our desktop, or laptop computers.

2019 is off to a great start!
