Three youth cowboys and cowgirls from Fowler competed at the National Little Britches Finals Rodeo last week at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Okla.

Dolly Diodosio competed in the senior girls barrel racing and breakaway roping. She had some fast times in the barrels with a 14.514-second ride on July 3 and she ran the course in 14.179 on July 5. That gave her a total time of 28.693 seconds, however, that wasn't good enough to qualify for the short go.

She had a rough time in breakaway, compiling no times on both of her attempts. She had her runs the same days as her barrel races.

The Bottini family, Evan and Graeson, also participated in the finals rodeo.

Evan was in three events in the senior boys division. He had his best luck in ribbon roping with his partner, Rayanne Griffin of Stratton. They had a no time on July 4, but they came back with a time of 19.131 seconds later in the day.

He was also entered in tie-down roping and team roping. However, he did not score a time in either event.

Another member of the Bottini family, Graeson, was in four events in the Little Wranglers division.

Graeson also had some hard luck as he received a time in two of his events. He had a time of 15.73 in his first goat tail untying on July 2. However, he received no time on July 5.

He had a no time in his first barrel race on July 4, but he did clock a 15.215 seconds later in the day.

Graeson also participated in flag racing and pole bending, but did not receive a time in any of his attempts.
