Fowler voters will consider a master plan for the district's facilities in this fall's election.

The Fowler school board voted earlier this month to place the issue on the November ballot. More information regarding the master plan is available on the school districts website:

This past Monday was the first day of school for 371 students, with 201 in elementary, 58 in junior high, and 112 in high school.

In other news, much progress has been made to moving the school office closer to the entrance. Glass doors are being installed this week to create a welcome area at the main entrance. This renovation will create a safer environment for students and staff.

The next meeting of the Fowler school board is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 16. Meetings are open to the public.
