Spring is off to a busy start at the Fowler Public Library.

Going on now each Monday the library is open the AARP tax preparation service is available at our facility. For more information call 719-469-9006.

Our after school program has been well attended. The month of March students will be looking for the gold hidden by our resident leprechaun also known as Connor Bradshaw. Each first Thursday of the month we hold this fun time which lasts from 3:30-5:00 p.m.

The winners of our first ever poetry contest were announced earlier this week. Rylee Smith took first place winning a Barnes and Nobel gift card. Second place was awarded to Stephen Hildreth. Stephen earned a Starbucks gift card. We thank all of our entrants and say thanks as well to our knowledgeable judges Katie Thomas, and Mark Sharp.

Congratulations also go out to Mario Quintana a 4 th grader in Mrs. Clemmensen’s class for having the closest correct guess in our candy counting contest. His guesss awarded him the entire jar of sweets.
