The Fowler Tribune is starting a column to advise members of various churches in the Fowler area about what they are doing in the upcoming Easter season and the time leading up to Easter, considering the current COVID-19 pandemic. Many churches are going online on Facebook.

The Tribune’s contact with Fowler churches has been extremely limited. If you are a member of any congregation in Fowler, we would appreciate an email telling us about your church’s schedule. We have been able to contact people at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Parish, the West Assembly of God, Trinity Lutheran, and the United Methodist Church. Contact by phone, Bette McFarren at 719-980-4635 or email bmcfarren@ljtdmail.com

Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Parish will have no masses, no classes and no Stations of the Cross until further notice from the Diocese.

West Assembly of God will be live streaming on FaceBook on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., said Pastor Darryl Johnson.

Trinity Lutheran will have no services until further notice. Information from Kelly Lotrich, Town Clerk, whose mother is a member of the congregation.

The United Methodist Church will be on Facebook streaming for Manzanola on Sunday at 8:30-9:30 a.m.,  Olney Springs at  10-11 a.m., and Fowler at 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Thank you for your help in getting this information together in these difficult times.
